Harriett drops in for tea at premier Malvern venue

31st May 2017

Harriett Baldwin was treated to a VIP tea when she dropped in for a whistle stop tour of a newly-refurbished Malvern hotel.

Harriett took a break from campaigning to visit the recently refurbished Cottage in the Woods hotel to help celebrate a new chapter in the popular county venue.

The 30 bed hotel has been taken over by Nick and Julia Davies who have been carrying out a multi-million pound refurbishment since buying the hotel last year.

The pair visited Harriett at one of her regular MP surgeries to discuss their ambitions plans for the boutique votel.

Harriett said: “I had a long-standing commitment to visit Nick and Julia so I was glad I was able to take a break from camapigning to pop in and have a chat.

“The Cottage in the Woods has a huge reputation locally and it is part of the heritage of Malvern. It is very exciting to hear the ambitious plans to enhance the venue and I look forward to seeing how the venture proceeds.

“I was impressed at some of the interesting plans the pair have to bring more visitors to the area, building on the long-standing reputation which has made the hotel a popular destination for many years. I welcome their fresh thinking and wish them all the best for a successful future.“
