The benefits system is designed to ensure support for those who need it most. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) continually reviews and refines the disability benefits process to improve its efficiency and effectiveness.

The Health and Disability Green Paper considered how to enhance current services to make them better and easier to use as well as providing extra support to help claimants navigate the system, and what more can be done to better support disabled people into employment.  I understand that a White Paper is expected later this year. I will follow developments closely.
