Crowds flocked to Malvern Wells to mark the return of a popular business woman to the town and the opening of a new clothes shop. West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin carried out the ceremonial ribbon cutting duties at Solo Boutique on Wells Road, ahead of a gathering of local dignitaries and former customers at the new shop. The MP chatted to business owner Jill Campbell, who formerly owned Juno, in Great Malvern, and has come out of retirement to open up the new store, offering a bespoke personalised shopping experience for people looking for occasionwear. Harriett commented: “I always enjoyed shopping at Jill’s previous shop, and it is great to see her returning to retailing. “Jill was a popular district councillor as well as being a successful businesswoman and politics’ loss is retail’s gain. I am sure previous customers will be heading to Malvern Wells to book time with Jill to buy their outfits for weddings and other special occasions.” Jill added: “It was wonderful launch party and it’s great to be back.
