Harriett Baldwin has invited Grant Shapps MP, the Conservative housing Shadow Minister to Powick to hold a public meeting during the consultation on the South Worcestershire Joint Core Strategy.

Grant Shapps MP will meet local residents who are concerned about the impact of housing growth on Newland, Madresfield, Guarlford and the Howsell area of Malvern Link. He will outline the problems with the government's approach and will explain how a Conservative government would abolish the top down imposition of housing numbers through Regional Spatial Strategy.

The public meeting is open to everyone and will start at 5:45 on October 1st at Powick Village Hall.
