Local candidate to lead discussion on November 10th in Westminster

Harriett Baldwin, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for West Worcestershire, has been invited to chair the Conservative Women's Organisation debate on "The Balancing Act" in Westminster's QEII Conference Centre next Monday, November 10th 2008.

This conference session will involve Kate Green OBE, Chief Executive of Child Poverty Action Group, Imelda Redmond, Chief Executive of Carers UK and Maria Miller MP, Shadow Minister for the Family.

Harriett Baldwin said, "Many people today find themselves juggling work, care for older relatives and care for children or grand-children. As a working mother myself, I know how challenging this can be. Extending the right to request a flexible work arrangement and shared parental leave are examples of two Conservative policies that we will be debating."
