Harriett Baldwin has today been officially nominated as the Conservative Party's candidate in West Worcestershire. As recommended by the Committee on Standards in Public Life, Harriett has today also published on her website her Declaration of interests and is issuing a press release to local media. Harriett Baldwin said: “I welcome this new element of transparency in public life and am delighted to publish this optional Declaration of Interests. “I hope all the candidates in this election will follow the example of the Conservative Party candidates across the country. If I am elected as an MP, I will also be publishing my expenses each month, as well as releasing them to the local papers. “We need a fresh start and a new Parliament to regain the public's trust in politicians.” Harriett is challenging for the seat of West Worcestershire – one of the largest constituencies in the country. Harriett added: “People across West Worcestershire are looking for a local champion who knows the area and is willing to stand up for them in and act with integrity at all times. Only a vote for the Conservatives will end Labour’s 13 years and disastrous administration.” | Statement of Persons Nominated
