Conservative candidate Harriett Baldwin today called for action to help entrepreneurs to lead Britain’s economic recovery.
Harriett said: “Our goal is simple: to make Britain the easiest and best place in the world to set up and grow a business.
“By ensuring government and business work together rather than micro-managing from top down, we will achieve far more for British society than labour has ever done.
”Any recovery must be led by our entrepreneurs and the first task a Conservative government will undertake is the reversal of the National Insurance hike which will halt any chance of economic recovery.”
Harriett was speaking at a St George’s Day Business Breakfast attended by key business leaders and fellow Conservative candidate Peter Luff and Conservative MEP Malcolm Harbour.
She added: “People across West Worcestershire are looking for a local champion who knows the area and is willing to stand up for them in and act with integrity at all times. Only a vote for the Conservatives will end Labour’s 13 years and disastrous administration. “
