Health Minister Simon Burns today praised the newly opened Malvern Community Hospital, at a debate in the House of Commons. The Minister highlighted the hospital during a debate on local health services at the Houses of Parliament today (March 2). He praised the way the way the staff are able to combine a number of areas of expertise to ‘improve local care for its patients in the community and in their homes’. The Minister said: “Providing more NHS in this way is essential if we are to improve health outcomes whilst also finding significant efficiency savings across the health service. “It is outcomes that are of the utmost importance to our constituents in part of their care pathway.” Harriett commented: “I know that there is great interest in the new hospital and the way the staff are able to add value to the local health service. “We are rightly proud of the work that Lin Ingles and her team do and now we are also know that the Health Minister is happy with the progress so far.”
