Harriett Baldwin warmly welcomed new Conservative proposals to abolish inheritance tax for everyone who is not a millionaire.
Harriett Baldwin said, "With the rise that we have seen in house prices in Worcestershire in recent years, a tax that was supposed to apply to only the wealthiest households is now a worry for many people. I welcome this proposal and I know residents of West Worcestershire will welcome it too. It is one of the issues that Sir Michael Spicer and I hear about regularly from older residents in the area."
The measure will be paid for by a levy on offshore income on non-domiciled foreigners living in the UK.
