An innovative local company has scooped the support of local MP Harriett Baldwin after a tour of their Malvern HQ.
The MP visited The DooUp Company, based in Malvern Wells, to see their innovative machine for helping to hygienically clear dog waste.
The machine has been developed by brother and sister team Stuart and Helen Morris and was debuted at Crufts in March and has been steadily attracting attention – and sales - throughout the year.
Harriett – who herself owns a miniature dachshund called Poppy – was so impressed with the kit that she bought one of the machines on the spot.
Harriett said: “I am seeing more and more small businesses starting up across the patch and it was great to see what Stuart and Helen have already achieved.
“Our local entrepreneurs are really something to be proud of and I am keen to promote as many companies as possible.
“I can see that this piece of kit will be very useful for dog-owners with gardens but I can also foresee that councils would be able to use it for public spaces.
“I hope that the company continues to make a splash in this country and hopefully, worldwide.”
