Tenbury Wells Conservatives have received a massive response to their new campaign to Stop Brown's NHS Cuts.

Conservatives held their second local Action Day on 2nd December across the whole country.

Harriett Baldwin, Parliamentary Candidate for West Worcestershire and the local Conservative team in Tenbury Wells collected hundreds of petition signatures calling on Gordon Brown to stop his financial mismanagement of the NHS.

These signatures will now be added to thousands of others which will shortly be presented to Gordon Brown.

Harriett Baldwin said, "We have been overwhelmed by the level of support for our campaign and would like to thank all those who have taken the time to sign our petition. In our area, the Primary Care Trust is having to find savings at every level. This week John Rosthill, chief executive of the Royal Worcestershire Hospital NHS Trust acknowledged that the PFI contract which Labour negotiated for the hospital has caused the Trust to "face difficulties".

We are continuing to collect signatures for this campaign before presenting our petition to Gordon Brown and local residents can also sign up to our e-petition at www.harriettbaldwin.com and use the link to Petitions.
