Harriett Baldwin this week applauded staff and pupils during a tour of Hanley Castle High School. The MP was taken around the school as well as meeting with head teacher Lindsey Cooke, governors and pupils. Harriett has been an active campaigner for proper funding for Worcestershire schools and during her discussions she heard about how the school provides an outstanding education while getting a lower budget than in many other parts of the country. Harriett commented: "Hanley Castle High School is a very impressive school with a clear vision for its future. “Staff, pupils and governors raised a range of issues with me which I look forward to helping them with."
