Harriett Baldwin MP this week backed a Malvern company’s plans to expand and bring 50 new jobs to the town. The West Worcestershire MP gave her support after visiting Essential Supply Products based in the Enigma Business Park. Harriett commented: “ESP is one of our local success stories and what’s clear is that the company is eager to expand and remain in Malvern. “I met with their team and was given a tour of their facilities. In these difficult economic times, I think it is important that we give as much help as possible to companies who are willing to invest in their local community and offer jobs to local people.” ESP is one of the UK’s leading independent manufacturers and suppliers of disposable paper products and washroom systems and employs more than 50 staff at sites in Worcstershire. The company was first set up in Malvern in 1990 and is looking to expand its warehousing facility and set up a new high-tech production and packaging plant. The MP held a meeting with the company’s senior staff and its NatWest banking team last week (November 5). Harriett added: “The company is looking to invest in staff and land, and that’s clearly good news for Malvern. I will do all I can to help them to expand quickly and create new job opportunities in the area.” Photo: Steve Briggs, managing director of ESP, Harriett Baldwin MP and Tim Rolph, of NatWest
