Harriett Baldwin today repeated a call to find local heroes for a national TV award.
The MP has agreed to support the local ITV campaign to find people who have worked hard to improve their local communities.
The award will be made at televised ceremony in central London later this year.
Harriett said: “I often tell people that West Worcestershire is the capital of the Big Society with many, many people going the extra mile to help their local community.
“This award set out to reward exceptional individuals who work to improve the lives of those who live around them or have been a driving force in bringing the community together.
“I can think of many suitable candidates across the county and I am calling for people to visit the ITV website and submit names to recognise our local heroes.”
