West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin braved heavy rain to offer her support to a campaign which encourages children to do more exercise.
And the MP attended a special open day at a thriving county outdoor venue to join in the fun with local children.
Kids Run Free is a national charity initiative which aims to encourage more children to exercise and runs regular events across the country.
Harriett formally opened the event hosted at Cob House Farm in Wichenford, near Worcester alongside Worcester City mayor Alan Amos.
Harriett said: “This is a great campaign to encourage people to make the most of local facilities and Cob House is a wonderful resource for families to visit.
“This initiative already runs a number of events across the UK and I was happy to help spread the word.
“Despite the bad weather, it was good to see some local people turning up to take part and I hope that this becomes a regular fixture for families who want to get their children out and about in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.”
