West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin is considering a report which proposes re-drawing the electoral boundaries in four years time.
The Boundary Commission review this week announced proposals to reduce the number of MPs and standardise the size of constituencies across the UK.
The changes were published today (Tuesday September 13) and if approved, will come into effect at the next General Election in 2015.
Harriett Baldwin commented: “I will be studying the proposals carefully to understand what impact the review will have in 2015.
“The proposals create two new constituencies for the area - Evesham, and Malvern and Ledbury. Voters currently in West Worcestershire would move to these two new constituencies.
“I am eager to hear what constituents think on this subject and I will be writing to the commissioner in due course with my formal response.
“It is important to point out that any changes will not come into force for four more years and in the meantime I am working hard every day for the people of West Worcestershire.”
