Hundreds of residents have signed a petition calling for action to fix dangerous pavements in Malvern Link. And West Worcestershire PM Harriett Baldwin has received the petition and promised to act to try and find a swift solution to the issue. More than 600 people signed the petition which highlights problems with uneven and damaged pavements which are causing injuries to local people. Harriett has written to Worcestershire County Council Officers and local County Councillor Paul Tuthill to ask them to investigate the issue and come up with a plan for preventing future injuries. Harriett said: "Many residents in Malvern Link have raised this issue with me in person as I walk about the area. "With the new investment going in to the Malvern Link train station, the Post Office, the Fire Station and the Churchill Retirement flats, it would be nice to have pavements to match. "As winter advances, I think it is important that our pavements are safe for everyone and I will look for the county council to report back with an action plan as quickly as possible."
