West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin has welcomed news that work is underway at Malvern Hills Science Park to build more space for Malvern's booming businesses. The Science Park has companies queuing up to take space at the popular business hub and work is underway to add two more phases at the Geraldine Road site. Harriett was taken on a tour of the new site with the Science Park's chief executive Alan White and they discussed plans for further rapid expansion when funding is available. Harriett commented: "Through this summer, I have been meeting businesses who report they are growing and looking to expand. Malvern Hills Science Park is a hugely attractive option and I know lots of companies who would like to take space on the site. "There are some impressive plans to expand and I am told that fresh companies are lining up to take space. "It is clear that many parts of Malvern's business community are booming and I hope that this growth will lead to many more new jobs and greater wealth spent in the area. "I offered Alan my support as he carries out his plans and look forward to seeing the new buildings emerge over the coming months."
