West Worcestershire MP, Harriett Baldwin today invited local businesses to meet with a Government trade minister on his visit to the Midlands.
Business Minister Michael Fallon is speaking at a half-day event in Birmingham on July 11, aimed at promoting regional economic growth.
The event - organised by the All Party Parliamentary Group for Trade and Investment - will also feature presentations by Siemens UK managing director Jurgen Maier and EADS CEO Robin Southwell.
Harriett commented: “High level speakers will be discussing how we can work together to increase growth and exports for businesses in the West Midlands.
“In Parliament we are working hard to open up the door to those companies who wish to export and I am pleased that the Minister will be visiting the region to highlight the support and opportunities that exist.
“Experts from UK Trade and Investment will also be on hand to advise companies on export opportunities.
“If any company wants to attend this free event, I would urge them to get in touch with my office as soon as possible.”
