Harriett Baldwin will this week lead an appeal for blood donors during a visit to Pershore. The MP will be appealing for local people to give blood as she makes her own trip to the National Blood Service team who will be at the Civic Centre on Friday, June 24. Harriett is combining the trip with her weekly surgery advice session which will be held at Pershore Town Hall starting at 5pm. Harriett commented: “The National Blood Service is visiting Pershore on Friday and I will be joining local people giving blood. “There is always high demand for blood and it is a really easy and satisfying way of helping others. I have a particularly useful blood type – O negative – which is currently in short supply. “Like many others, I have family members whose lives have been saved by blood donations. “I will also be holding my constituency surgery in the town hall and people are able to book a place by ringing my constituency office on 01684 585165.”
