West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin was invited to join the ranks of celebrity visitors when she popped in to a family-run Malvern pub for canapes and a chat with the new owners. Ellie Butler took over the Plough and Harrow in Guarlford late last year and has already welcomed TV and film star Robert Powell to sample the food of her son Dave, who is head chef. The team also boasts Ellie’s sister and daughter helping out at the new venture which has been refurbished to attract new customers including Malvern shoppers and people dining before visiting Malvern Theatre. Harriett said: “It is wonderful to see this family-owned pub in its newly renovated state.
