West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin has praised the ‘impressive’ achievements of a county primary school as she presented awards at the school’s weekly prize-giving. The MP toured the Grimley and Holt Primary School with head teacher Helen Hoarle and met with staff and pupils as well as attending their weekly assembly in St Bartholemew Church. Harriett was invited to the school to see an initiative in action which supplies fruit and vegetables to the school which are grown at the local farm run by John Harper. Pupils eat snacks including freshly grown carrots, apples and sugar snap peas during their breaks. Harriett said: “Grimley and Holt Primary School has a great reputation and is clearly delivering impressive results.
