West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin praised organisers running the RHS Malvern Spring Show which will again welcome thousands of visitors to the county.
The MP toured the festival site yesterday (Thursday) to see the show gardens, flower displays and a collection of gardens put together by local schools.
The show has become a fixture in the country’s horticulture calendar and attracts celebrities from the worlds of gardening and cookery to make presentations to visitors.
Harriett commented: “The Spring Show continues to grow and Malvern will play host to thousands of visitors to celebrate the best of gardening and food.
“I know that advance ticket sales are at record levels and we keep our fingers crossed for good weather and good crowds, enjoying the displays.
“I was particularly impressed by the gardens put together by our local primary schools and I do wonder if a star of the future has been inspired by taking part in this premier national attraction.”
