West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin has today congratulated Three Counties Show organisers for winning a royal seal of approval.
The agricultural show, which is hosted each June in Malvern, will now be known as the Royal Three Counties Show.
The award is a huge boost for the popular event which draws exhibitors and visitors from all over the country.
Harriett commented: “This is a huge boost for our ever-popular county show. Over the years it has grown tremendously and is now one of the premier agricultural events in the UK and, for many, the highlight of the farming year.
“The Royal seal is tribute to the hard work of those who organise this prestigious event and it is proof that as well as a great past, the show now has a great future too.
“I look forward to attending the first Royal Three Counties Show and joining people from far and near to mark this wonderful milestone.”
