West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin today continued her drive towards total transparency with the publication of her expenses for the full financial year. Her expenses have all been verified and accepted by the independent scrutineer set up last year. The details will be published today (Thursday July 21) by the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority. Harriett Baldwin MP commented: "I welcome the open publication of expenses and continue to be committed to a transparent system. "The story behind the numbers shows that I have opened a Malvern office easily accessible for constituents and have created three jobs for local people. "We replied to more than 8500 letters on behalf of constituents and advised 500 people at surgeries. "I've attended more than 300 meetings across the constituency as an MP and last year I was present in the House of Commons for the full 41 weeks last year. "I hope that West Worcestershire constituents can see that I and my team are working hard on their behalf, that Parliament matters and that local residents feel they can raise issues with me and their views can be heard."
