Harriett Baldwin MP has offered her support to a nationwide cancer awareness campaign by 'wearing pink' in the Houses of Parliament.
The MP donned a pink jacket for the day to help to raise awareness of the campaign which raises money to fund breast cancer research.
The 'Wear It Pink' campaign - which will happen on October 25 this year - has raised £23 million over the last ten years encouraging people to donate cash to the cause and wear pink clothes in schools, colleges and businesses.
Every year in the UK around 50,000 women and around 400 men are diagnosed with breast cancer.
Harriett commented: "Here in Worcestershire, it's great news that we are getting our own radiotherapy facility. It's great to participate in the Wear It Pink campaign and I was honoured to be asked to try and raise awareness of this special fund-raising day.
"I will be wearing pink on October 25 and I would encourage as many people as possible to do the same."
