West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin today welcomed a massive cash injection to help stimulate growth across the county. The fund – handed out to the county Local Enterprise Partnership – will be used to stimulate job creation and support major infrastructure projects. The £3.7 million pot can be used to fix local problems including local transport network. Harriett commented: “This is a great piece of news for local businesses and local people. “I have been working hard in Westminster to make the case for investment to help encourage our local firms to grow and create new jobs. “I am sure the news will be welcomed by our business community and I look forward to hearing how the Local Enterprise Partnership uses this money to stimulate job creation.”
