West Worcestershire Conservative parliamentary candidate Harriett Baldwin today received the backing of small business as part of a national campaign organised by Karren Brady of The Apprentice to support the Conservative’s long-term economic plan.
Small businesses across Worcestershire agreed to sign up to a letter supporting Conservative measures to lower taxes and reduce red tape, helping small and medium sized businesses to thrive and grow.
Harriett commented: “Over the last five years I have championed initiatives like cyber valley where small start-up firms have set up base in West Worcestershire. I am very proud that Malvern’s cyber community is now so reknowned.
“The county, the Local Enterprise Partnership and local councils have a great track record for encouraging small businesses to grow and I feel it is essential to ensure that we continue on the same path of keeping Britain open for business.
“Only with a Conservative majority Government will we be able to secure the right economic conditions to continue this economic recovery.
“I have backed business in West Worcestershire and now I am pleased that they are backing me and the Conservatives.”
