Tenbury MP Harriett Baldwin today encouraged everyone to have their say on the Tesco planning application following its validation by Malvern Hills District Council.
The 15,000 square foot store is expected to bring 180 full and part-time jobs to the area.
Meanwhile, Tesco has held a second meeting with the local MP at the House of Commons.
Harriett said: “Tesco representatives are keeping me informed of their plans and are answering my questions. The company is keen to hear local views on how it can best make a contribution to the community.
“I have suggested that they speak to the Environment Agency about the town’s need for investment in flood defences.
“Now that the application has been validated, it is important that Tenbury residents have their say by July 2.
“I would urge people to contact their local councillors or write to Malvern Hills District Council about the plans.”
