A new county brewer is getting access to the freshest ingredients as it builds a brewery right next to the hop fields. Unity Brew House, based in Suckley, has started a brewery in the heart of the hop fields at one of the UK’s largest hop providers – Stocks Farm. And local West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin met with brewery founders Hani and Sarah Saleh who have relocated from London to set up the company and live in Alfrick. The business started off based at home and they are now converting old farm, buildings to expand their production and allow for barrel and bottled beer production. Harriett commented: “Stocks Farm hops are sold to make world-class beers all over the world so it seems logical that someone would want to create a properly local brew. “I met with Hani and Sarah during my tour of the farm and was keen to wish them good luck with their new venture. “Worcestershire is famous for its hops and it would be such a boost to be famous in its own right for locally-brewed beers.” http://unitybrewhouse.co.uk/ Photo: Ali Capper, Sarah and Hani Saleh and Harriett Baldwin MP.
