Harriett Baldwin said, "I congratulate my colleague Mark Harper MP, who was so energetic in his arguments against this facility. I commend the work of the local campaign group CAPRI of Corse who campaigned relentlessly and raised the funds locally to hire a top barrister to fight the application. As I noted in my original objection to the Forest of Dean planners, this potentially dangerous industrial facility was completely out of place in the middle of this beautiful rural agricultural landscape. It was contrary to the Rural Development Plan and it became clear during the inquiry that there were other more suitable sites available. It is a relief to see that these points have been acknowledged by the Secretaries of State and upheld on appeal."
