Running from 5pm - 6:30pm, the free event will also provide tea, coffee and biscuits. All are welcome to attend.
The event will appeal to people who want to save money regularly and borrow at a competitive rate from a credit union; to people who want to find out if they are getting the right benefits; to those who want to tackle their debts; to those looking for a basic bank account and to those who want to see changes to the law protecting consumers of financial products.
Organisations who will have stands at the event are the Malvern Citizens Advice Bureau, Black Pear Credit Union, Malvern Hills District Council Revenue and Benefits officers and Festival Housing welfare officers. Event organiser Harriett Baldwin, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for West Worcestershire will also be on hand to help with any problems. She can also refer issues to Malvern's MP Sir Michael Spicer so that he can raise them with government agencies.
The event is being supported by Barclays. Barclays Great Malvern will also be on hand to provide information about their basic bank account."
