Harriett Baldwin, the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for West Worcestershire and Dr Ken Pollock, Tenbury's new County Councillor will tomorrow (Tuesday) visit the Job Centre Marches Regional Headquarters in Kidderminster to discuss the Tenbury Job Centre Bus.

At present, a Job Centre mobile bus service visits Tenbury every fourth Wednesday and parks in the swimming pool car park. The service is subject to cancellation if there is a staff absence or if the vehicle is needed elsewhere, for example at a factory where there is a high number of redundancies.

Harriett Baldwin said, "Ken and I requested this meeting to see if we could find a more visible and more accessible location for the Job Centre staff visit. It is not terribly well used by Job Seekers in the Tenbury area and perhaps there is a solution that might work better for local people and for the Job Centre management."
