Harriett Baldwin MP this week renewed her support to the local police after working a night shift in Malvern on Bonfire Night.
The West Worcestershire MP accompanied local police Inspector Clive Griffiths on a Friday night patrol in the town.
Harriett commented: “Bonfire Night has the potential to be one of the busiest nights of the year and I was pleased that the police were able to accommodate me.
“I was eager to see the challenges that police face and I was able to see our officers in action dealing with disturbances first hand.
“I have great respect for the men and women who work hard to keep our community safe and secure.
“I also welcomed hearing from the newly appointed division chief Superintedent Steve Cullen that the West Mercia police will be working to reduce costs while continuing to retain resources on the front line.”
