Harriett Baldwin today welcomed the Prime Minister's announcement for the recall of Parliament.
Government MPs have been asked to return to Parliament this Thursday for a statement from the Prime Minister and a debate led by the Home Secretary. The West Worcestershire MP will travel to the House of Commons from the constituency.
Harriett commented: "I know that my constituents have been shocked to see widespread criminal behaviour on the streets of our capital city.
"Let's hope that the police can bring the situation under control with the additional support that was announced after today's COBRA meeting.
"I welcome the way in which the Prime Minister and Home Secretary have returned from holiday to answer questions from Members of Parliament."
