West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin this week congratulated a parade of Malvern businesses which scooped Chamber of Commerce awards. Seven Malvern businesses were recognised at the glittering awards ceremony held at the Three Counties Showground on Thursday (September 20). Technology start-up business Smart Actuator Company scooped the award for most promising new business and mobile marketing company Text Local picked up the Innovation award. Metrasens won in the international business category and Deep-Secure, Dytecna, Asiri Foods and Roar Forensics also picked up commendations. Harriett commented: “Malvern’s corporate track record has always been extremely impressive and I am delighted to see so many local businesses pick up awards. “It is absolutely clear to me that there is no better place in the county to start up and grow a business. “I pass on my congratulations to all the brilliant companies who are driving the recovery in and around Malvern and I pledge to do all I can support continued growth and success.”
