Harriett Baldwin, MP for West Worcestershire, today offered her condolences on the passing of former South African President Nelson Mandela. She commented: “I know people all over the county will join me in paying tribute to Nelson Mandela, who was an indefatigable campaigner, a great leader and a hero to a generation. “His struggle to bring equal rights to his country inspired people all over the world and as we mourn his passing, we should remember and celebrate the efforts of one of the true heroes of the twentieth century.”
