West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin has welcomed further upgrades to the local mobile phone network after EE announced the upgrade of a mast at Bushley Green. The upgrade means local residents will be able to access mobile internet at much faster speeds and in some areas they will now get better access than traditional landline connections. Harriett met with Bushley businesses last year to discuss problems accessing the internet for business use and pledged to raise the issue with both the local county council and the national mobile phone operators. Harriett commented: “I am pleased to hear of this latest upgrade. This is part of a number of mast upgrades that EE has been rolling out across the constituency and I am pleased to be able to help spread the word. “I spoke at great length to many people living and working in the area and know how strong the feeling was about getting access to 21st century data communications. “I am sure this news will be welcomed by local businesses and home owners and look forward to seeing more 4G upgrades delivered as quickly as possible.”
