Tenbury residents will be able to take part in a phone briefing session as the Environment Agency continues its consultation on the new flood defence scheme.
Two phone sessions will take place on January 26 and January 28 to allow people who are not able to access the internet to have their say and get involved in the development of the scheme.
The agency has set up a dedicated phone number - 03708 506 506 – which local people can ring to get more information or if they are able, email Tenbury.FRMS@environment-agency.gov.uk.
Harriett commented: “The latest lockdown measures mean that face-to-face briefings will be impossible, but the Environment Agency is taking all appropriate steps to allow as many people as possible to have a say.
“I urge people to sign up to receive the scheme newsletter and I hope as many people as possible will be able to share their views on this crucial piece of design work.”
The agency has unveiled a ‘virtual engagement room’ where computer users are able to visit a dedicated site, look at the plans and leave their comments.
