West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin offered her thanks to all those serving in uniform during Armed Forces Day celebrations in Malvern.
The MP attended Malvern’s event to show her support for the armed forces alongside veterans from across the county.
The celebrations, at Victoria Park, featured a parade by the volunteer band of the Mercian Regiment, aerial displays and stands celebrating the work of the armed forces.
Current servicemen and women were also on hand helping to recruit young people and promote careers in the armed forces.
Harriett commented: “I feel it is important to remember those who serve to today's armed forces across the world keeping us safe and secure.
“Armed Forces Day is an important event to remind people of the work that people are doing both in places like Afghanistan but also in many other parts of the world.
“It was a privilege to meet veterans from Aden, Oman and Dunkirk and it was humbling to hear their stories of service.
“I was pleased to attend this impressive celebration and hope that it will be a regular fixture in the calendar for many years to come.”
