Local MP Harriett Baldwin has offered her support to Malvern Outdoor Education Centre to help them hit new heights.
And the MP took to the climbing wall during her tour of the facilities as well as meeting with staff.
Harriett was given a briefing by Centre director Nick Hands who has taken over running the facility from Worcestershire County Council.
The centre offers residential and day courses for local schools as well as offering team-building courses for businesses allowing people to try out their skills on equipment like rope bridges, zip wires and other climbing challenges.
Harriett commented: “I was pleased to be able meet with the staff who have taken on the challenge of taking over the centre from the county council.
“I am told that the centre is well on course to return to profitability and I want to pay tribute to Nick and his team who are working so hard to make sure the we have an important facility such as this available to our schools.
“Every county student will visit the centre during their time at school so I am pleased to support their plans to improve facilities and bring it up to scratch for the 21st century.”
