Harriett Baldwin is waving the flag for local tourism after visiting an open day at a rural bed and breakfast venue.
Sarah Wint runs a successful bed and breakfast operation at her 16th Century farmhouse in Berrington in the Teme valley.
Last week (Friday May 2) the MP was invited to visit Brook Farm and formally open the gardens which will be open for viewing by the public during the summer.
Harriett commented: “It was lovely to visit Sarah’s wonderful little business and talk to local people about how we put Tenbury on the map for tourists.
“Brook Farm is set in the heart of the beautiful Teme valley and I am keen to encourage more people to visit places such as this from the UK and abroad.
“It is a beautiful place to relax and is a great base for seeing some of our beautiful rural countryside.
“I wished Sarah good luck in this venture and I promised to try and spread the word both locally and back in Westminster.”
