West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin has helped to mark National Apprentice Week by offering her help to a county publican to find new recruits. The MP has offered her help to publican Brynn Hazelwood who has taken over the newly-refurbished Anchor pub in Kempsey. Brynn – who used to work in financial services before taking over the pub - is looking for extra staff, including an apprentice, as business booms. Harriett said: “It was useful to have a chat with Brynn as he takes on the challenge of running a country pub. “Kempsey is blessed with quite a few pubs but with an ambitious neighbourhood plan that helps the village to retain its character, I expect that the future is rosy for the Anchor. “Bryn mentioned to me that he is looking to take on new staff and was investigating hiring an apprentice.
