West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin hopped on the battlebus to press for the case to remain in the European Union in the referendum on June 23. The MP took the Conservative battlebus to Pershore and Malvern’s shopping centres to talk to voters and to campaign to stay in the EU. Harriett has been campaigning across the county, taking part in debates, running information stalls on the town’s high streets and sharing information. Harriett said: “The referendum look very close. Lots of people are pleased to have the opportunity to discuss the effect of the EU Referendum on the ground and hear how it matters for Worcestershire. “I am keen to speak to as many undecided voters as possible and I am planning to hold further events to try to answer questions from people who have not yet made up their mind. “I am also keen to try and make sure we engage with as many young people as possible in this campaign. This decision will affect their lives for years to come. It's much more important than a local or general election. “Many people are thirsty for more information and I am happy to share my thoughts. People often say ‘better the devil you know’. “I also think that, like our Scottish friends, we should aim for a really high turnout in the referendum to show that as many people as possible have thought about the issue and cast their vote in a decisive way.” Photo: The Conservative IN battlebus pulls up in Pershore with West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin onboard.
