Was the Secretary of State as surprised as I was to learn that that was in the Labour party’s 2010 manifesto? Mr Lansley: I am grateful to my hon. Friend. I suppose that we should not be surprised that the Labour party in opposition has abandoned everything it said in government, but for it to abandon so quickly so many of the things it said even in its manifesto is pretty dramatic. | Hansard
