West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin will this week hold her constituency surgery in Malvern town centre.

Harriett Baldwin today urged the Financial Services Authority to listen as a growing swell of MPs called for a rethink on the RDR debate.

Harriett will visit the village of Alfrick in her continuing programme to take her constituency surgery across the whole of West Worcestershire.

Speaking on today's Treasury Select Committee announcement to request written evidence on the RDR, Harriett Baldwin MP commented: "I am very pleased that the Treasury Select Committee has chosen to take this important step towards properly investigating the impact of the RDR on independent financial advisers.

The Leader of the House, Sir George Young, has today confirmed that the floor debate on the RDR and the future of independent financial advisers will take place on November 29th (note this date has been changed since this release was first published).
