I agree that this application raises planning issues of more than just local importance. A public inquiry was held and the outcome will be considered before any decision is made.

I am sorry to have to tell you that I am not aware of any current plans to regulate or cap the price of domestic heating oil. I would, however, encourage all customers who rely on heating oil to shop around to find the most cost-effective supply available locally.
